This episode so far (watching on catch up, halfway through the road trip film) is pretty decent. I didnt mind the last one either.

Yes, the shouty one has been sidelined.
They’re also making use of Messrs Harris and Read. The Stars in an Autocross car needs to go though.

Well, the rallycross part itself is not that bad, but the question part before hand is the same every time: x reads what y is up to, y reads what x is up to, the first car of x sucks, the first car of y sucked less, best car of x is cool, the one of y not so much. That is what needs to go most.

This exactly. I don't mind them doing celebrity interviews and laps (there have been some gems over the years), I just don't want them so scripted and formulaic

Yeah they’re playing to the strengths of the other hosts more now. The star segment could be okay if it wasn’t so damn formulaic.
